Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made for Clario by GeniWay, a stream-fit and career clarity product offered by GENIWAY TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED.

Clario is a digital decision-support product for students and families. We aim to keep payments transparent, fair, and parent-safe.

1. What you are purchasing

Depending on the plan selected, your purchase may include access to:

  • Core Clarity Report + Personalized Career Map
  • Family Guided Plus / Family Decision Plus guided interpretation and family-alignment support
  • Other Clario digital features made available under your selected plan

All current Clario Core and Family Guided Plus purchases are one-time payments unless clearly stated otherwise. There is no auto-renewal for these plans.

2. Refund eligibility

You may request a refund in the following cases:

  • You made a duplicate payment.
  • Payment was successful, but access was not granted due to a technical issue that our support team cannot resolve.
  • You request a refund before the paid Core Assessment has started.

Once the paid assessment has started, refunds are not normally available because Clario begins delivering the purchased digital service and assessment experience.

3. Refunds after the assessment has started

If the paid assessment has already started, refund requests require manual review.

We may consider exceptions in limited cases, such as:

  • duplicate payment
  • payment gateway issue
  • unresolved technical access issue
  • wrong plan purchase
  • genuine parent/student confusion during the MVP or pilot phase
  • founder/admin-approved goodwill exception

Approval of such requests is at the discretion of GeniWay after reviewing the payment status, product access status, assessment status, guidance status, and support history.

4. Family Guided Plus / Family Decision Plus refunds

For Family Guided Plus / Family Decision Plus, refund eligibility depends on whether guided support has started.

A refund is generally available before guided interpretation or family-alignment support starts.

After guided support has started, refunds are not normally available and require manual review.

5. Core to Family Guided Plus upgrade refunds

If you purchased Core first and later upgraded to Family Guided Plus:

  • A refund for the upgrade is generally available before Family Guided Plus guidance support starts.
  • If the upgrade is refunded, your original Core report access remains available unless the original Core purchase is also refunded.
  • If guided support has already started, refund requests require manual review.
  • Duplicate upgrade payments will be refunded after verification.

6. What happens to access after refund

If your refund is approved, access to the refunded plan or feature may be removed.

In most cases:

  • refund of Core may remove Core Assessment, Report, Career Map, and related Core access;
  • refund of Family Guided Plus may remove guided interpretation and family-alignment support;
  • refund of an upgrade removes only the upgraded guidance entitlement, while valid Core access remains active.

In special goodwill or pilot cases, GeniWay may choose to issue a refund while retaining access. This is an exception and requires internal approval.

7. How to request a refund

You can request a refund from your Clario account:

Account → Payments → Select payment → Request refund

You may also contact support through the help option shown in your Clario account or checkout/payment screens.

Please include:

  • registered student/account name
  • payer name
  • registered phone or email
  • payment date
  • payment amount
  • reason for refund request
  • any relevant screenshot or transaction reference

8. Refund processing timeline

After we receive your refund request, we will review it and inform you of the outcome.

If approved, the refund will be initiated to the original payment method where supported by the payment gateway. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may depend on your bank, UPI provider, card issuer, or payment gateway.

9. Taxes and receipts

If a refund is approved, the refundable amount and any tax adjustment will be handled according to applicable law and payment records.

If a receipt has already been issued, GeniWay may generate a refund note, credit note, or equivalent adjustment record where required.

10. No guarantee claims

Clario helps families make a more informed stream and career decision. It does not guarantee admission, exam performance, salary, college allotment, or career outcomes.

Refund requests cannot be made only because a user disagrees with a recommendation, expected a guaranteed outcome, or wanted an admission/exam/career guarantee that Clario does not provide.

11. Policy changes

GeniWay may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website.

The policy applicable at the time of purchase will generally guide refund eligibility for that purchase, unless a later change is more favorable to the user or required by law.
